Antiseptics like boric acid cure bacterial infections in the eyes and alleviate inflammation. The purified salt solution sodium chloride acts by pulling water out of the enlarged cornea. Camphor and menthol have a cooling effect.
The five medications that makeup Carboxymethylcellulose, Naphazoline Hydrochloride, Camphor, Menthol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate & Boric Acid Eye Drops are naphazoline, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, camphor, and menthol. This medication is prescribed for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergy). Burning, itching, and pain are relieved with sodium carboxymethylcellulose, which serves as a lubricant.

If the irritation persists or worsens, see your doctor. If you have closed-angle glaucoma, high blood pressure, diabetes, an eye infection or injury, hyperthyroidism, heart, kidney, or liver problems, tell your doctor before taking this eye drop.

It should only be used in children if a doctor has prescribed it. Pain, eye irritation, stinging in the eyes, blurred vision, and photophobia are all possible side effects of this medicine. These are usually transient and go away on their own, but if they bother you or last for an extended period of time, visit your doctor. Eye inflammation is a possible adverse effect, but it should go away after your treatment is over. Contact your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your feces.

Continue taking the medication for as long as your doctor has given it in order to effectively treat your problem.

When using Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Naphazoline Hydrochloride, Camphor, Menthol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Boric Acid Eye Drops, do not wear contact lenses. Remove contact lenses before using the drops and reinsert them after 15 minutes.
If prescribed by a doctor, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Naphazoline Hydrochloride, Camphor, Menthol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Boric Acid Eye Drops can be used in conjunction with other eye treatments. Maintain a 10-15 minute interval between both medications.
