Moxifloxacin belongs to the class of medication called antibiotics, the antibiotics group of medicines are used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis. The conjunctiva is the transparent membrane that covers your eyeball’s white part. Directions to Use
- This medication is available only at prescription, your medical healthcare provider will prescribe the medication according to the infection or problem you are suffering from.
- The quantity of ointment and duration of treatment is based on the condition of your infection.
- If you are using an ointment form of Moxifloxacin antibiotic, then you can use it by lying down backwards on the sofa, bed etc. Use your index finger to form a pocket in your eye. Apply the prescribed quantity into the pocket, and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
- Use this medication at the same time every day for the best possible results.
- Keep it in a cool place, away from the heat and sunlight.
Side Effects

Precautions

- Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about your eye medical history, if you have ever had any surgery or eye problems, it is important to tell about that.
- This medication can cause blurred vision, don’t operate heavy vehicles or drive a car or bike if you are not familiar with the effects. It is best to rest for about 5 minutes for clear vision.
- Do not start or stop taking the medication on your own, it can cause some effects that may not be good for your eye health.
